Call for submissions to Doctoral Consortium

The Doctoral Consortium provides an opportunity for research students to present and discuss their dissertation research with senior researchers and other students in an interdisciplinary workshop setting. We invite applications from students who have defined their dissertation research direction but still have substantial work to complete.

Benefits of Participation

  • Receive constructive feedback on your dissertation work from senior researchers and peers
  • Network with other doctoral students working in HCI and related fields
  • Gain mentoring from experienced faculty members
  • Discussions about career ambitions and development strategies
  • Develop your research and presentation skills
  • Published extended abstract in the conference proceedings
  • Special networking events during the main conference
  • Financial Support: selected participants will receive a registration fee reduction for the main conference

Selection Process

All submissions will undergo a juried-by-committee process. Participants will be selected based on:

  • The quality and clarity of their research proposal
  • The potential benefit from participation in the consortium
